They named it the Spider...I guess I could see it crawling around at least here in the desert, I would call it a treat to see every now and again zipping around in various colors against the drab backdrop of the everywhere Desert Beige. I for one would call it a pleasure to see! Yet the 4C not only looks good, it sounds good too! It has a nice deep competitive sound, especially in the showroom, something you could be alone with on a long narrow stretch of roadway, disconnected just you and Alfa Romeo. Enjoying the pure art of movement. Being involved with car racing since 1911 the company did an excellent job of pouring all the heritage, tradition, and beauty the company is known for into the new Spider. Being able to add just a dash of luxury to such an outright Sport Model as only Alfa Romeo could without taking away from performance.

Class?

Well its hard to place the 4C as it does not sit well in any class! What I mean? I mean it outperforms anything in its own price-range and out prices anything in its performance range. So where does the Spyder sit? Good question. So far...in a class by itself.

After all it has been more than 100 years and Alfa Romeo has always made their "own" car in every aspect of design and engineering and once again they have introduced an instant classic to the world. In the form of the 4C (as shown). Obtaining a perfect balance between power, design and performance the "new" Alfa 4C is much more than a driver. This is an over-the-counter Race Car available under $100,000! The 4Cwas built for use both on the road and for racing an art of performance engineering Alfa Romeo has used perfectly for decades, with models like the famous "Alfa Romeo 6C" which was produced between 1927 and 1954. Named for its 6 Cylinder straight-six engine. And therein is Alfa Romeo, do you enjoy the ride or the tradition when behind the wheel? Hard to tell as both do a great job of sending the exhilaration behind the wheel at 140 MPH.

I must say Alfa Romeo did a fantastic job of returning. Nothing flamboyant just enough to capture the essential elements of style from before the 40's 50's and 60's and merged it seamlessly with the state-of-the-art technology while still retaining the element of driver control. Simply put a great car...Welcome back! Alfa Romeo!

The 2016 Land Rover SVAutobiography - Finally Adequate Transportation From Point A To B

 Ironically the star of the 2015 New York Auto Show was a 2016 Model...The Latest Land Rover SUV. With technology slowly methodically taking over every aspect of life as we know it how will we transport ourselves here in the next 10 years? The question, I mean will our mode of transportation even remain on the the ground, or will we take to flight? Well back to the ground...at least for now.

The 2016 Land Rover mad its debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show with much expectation as many waited to see what would take over the top spot at Range Rover for SUV's at least. Glad to say the SVAutobiography didn't disappoint one bit. As the title states this is finally adequate transportation from Point A to Point B in so many aspects. Luxury and comfort being the main aspect. Not to mention the raw power within in the form of a supercharged 550-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine seamlessly mated to a custom  ZF 8-speed automatic transmission which work in unisome to bring the Land Rover up to tremendous speeds in only a few seconds.

The technology allows passengers to enjoy the benefits of the Supercharged SUV without any of the noises or movements ever penetrating the cabin. Instead passengers are treated to a state of the art sound-system or simply sit and enjoy the additional luxury details of the interior most of which is covered in a high quality Leather accented nicely with with of course even higher quality of wood nicely splashed about with Aluminum Machined Controls.

Many would say the 2016 SUVAutobiography has managed to redefine transportation in a much needed way. The 2016 SUVAutobiography finally allows appointed passengers to be successfully transported from one luxurious setting into another perfectly. Did the model successfully take over the top spot? For an SUV yet to be released many would say yes! Hell Yes! I for one agree 100%. I mean I see the SUVAutobiography in all its beauty and can understand how finally one can still enjoy every and all the amenities of home while moving powerfully, peacefully from one destination to the next, this is Range Rover...the brand, the tradition. There are certain brands that have grown, culminated cultivated into privileged goods, whereas ownership is indeed owed to a numbered few. Range Rover is and has been since its inception, one of those brands. Hopefully you are included amongst the certain few to obtain one if the 2016 SUVAutiobiography models once they do become available (early next Spring). Otherwise like all other great works of artistic engineering, we can admire from afar.

Bottom line is Finally ? We have adequate transportation from Point A To B!
