200 MILES PER HOUR - SHOWCASING STREET LEGAL RACING MACHINES: 2012 Porsche 911... A Double Dose of Flat 6's

2012 Porsche 911... A Double Dose of Flat 6's

This is the first Porsche I've seen that looks like a Porsche. It can be clearly assumed with or without factory markings that this is a Porsche. An excellently crafted piece of machinery built transport in a rapid fashion. This is the cabriolet which means she is topless. For a mere $109,000 (as tested) you earn the privileged of seeing her go topless whenever you like! So you may ask yourself (or I can tell you) why is this car wearing tennis shoes? Simply put because it runs and it runs fast. As you can see the front end was built specifically to take a lot, so give it a lot. This is true propulsion, a rear wheel drive drive train disguised as 3.8L H-6 easily propels this machine from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds.

Official Engine Description: "3.4L horizontally opposed six-cylinder DOHC with variable valve timing" just sounds cool right!

So while life was trying to keep up with the Carrera S Cabriolet Porsche without regard unconsciously slipped the GTS right under our noses.
So let's take excellence and tinker with it. The result a newly bred GTS. "Got The Speed" would be a good synonym for the initials! As this one does have the speed to match the looks. One of he few cars that look fast at dead stand still. More of an involvement, something that you don't just drive, you commit to it. The rear seats are optional! now where getting somewhere! As I've personally never seen anyone get out the back seat of a Porsche I never was a big fan of them. To me they were just weight as everyone else simply had to meet me there. This is driving, this is personal.

Intimidation redefined:
A company staple the Flat-Six a remarkable piece of craftsmanship. This engine has powered every 911 produced.  The unassuming outward appearance is a total facade as this monster comes to life with a distinct testosterone-filled growl. They did an excellent job of sticking and stuffing the extras where they would fit without interrupting the ergonomic flow of the interior.

Hard of Soft...

It truly is lonely at the top...
So if your in the market for a 911 make sure have the proper knowledge to get what you want. As they all seem to make a statement the choice shouldn't be too hard.
