The 20?? Bentley EXP 9F - A Distinguished Utility Vehicle

Bentley EXP 9F - A Distinguished Utility Vehicle

The world got a sneak peak at it when it came to the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012. And as expected from Bentley it exceeded everyone's expectations. The bad news is we may have to wait until 2015. The good news is that it's well worth it.

A Game Changer - Hand built at Bentley's plant in Crewe, England the EXP 9 does a perfect job of representing Bentley's signature overbearingly elegant front grill accented by round lamps sitting at each end. Accurately as it looks it is a very ambitious mode of transportation over any terrain on a Worldwide scale.

A nice overall compliment on the existing models by taking the Bentley tradition and staying within the prestige as required while producing the world's utmost Sport Utility Vehicle. The EXP 9 instantly creates an entirely new class of SUV. This transportation aimed at a highly niche'd market with highly specialized needs.

EXP 9 F – Extravagant Utility Vehicle, a concept in originality that came to reality. A proposed 4th model to stand alongside the already World famous Bentley Continental GT, Flying Spur, and the Mulsanne.

Performance/Craftsmanship – The design is somewhat a combination of the three current models with a touch of SUV'ism added. As expected Bentley gently jammed their W-12 12 cylinder engine under the hood. The one surprise was the 23' inch rims they bolted to the axles. Surprising was how they seemed to find the perfect design and more importantly how well proportioned they sit on the EXP 9.

The all-wheel-drive EXP 9 F is powered by Bentley's 6.0-liter twin turboW12 engine. A beast in itself. One of the biggest if not the biggest engines on the market today.

Roomy, exquisite Leather, select woods Aluminum all seamlessly intertwined. Each passenger has total self control. The inside looks and feels like a Bentley. Hosting ultra-luxurious amenities wrapped in such select materials as wood, leather, and polished metals like aluminum, bronze, and gunmetal.

The rear armrest host cooled compartments for champagne and glasses. Passengers also can appreciate the flowing roof design complete with a panoramic glass panel while enjoying a glass of cooled champagne.

World Wide Web – Any passengers has full internet access connectivity via an iPad, laptop or tablet.

Powered footrest make it easier to enjoy a premium movie on the infotainment screen. A feature sure to be greatly appreciated is when the rear seats are not in use they can be slid int a forward locking position to create more rear-space for luggage if needed.

Amenities – What enables the EXP 9F to be classified as a luxurious SUV are unique amenities added such as a rear tailgate can be used as a viewing bench or picnic table. Picnic hampers are stowed away neatly on both sides of the rear storage space.

Overall – I have to say it does take on a more Sportier look than its automotive counterparts. Which somehow seems to fit from a “Sport Utility” point of view. I like the versatility of the EXP 9F. I mean you could run it up the countryside for an afternoon picnic then that evening make a grand entrance to any high level social event. This is Bentley a few of the rules change, okay all of the rules change.

As with any Bentley I could go on forever in Amenities (many of which they consider standard) instead I'll let you discover some on your own. Only a limited number will be produced.

Unseen - According sources several hundred EXP 9F's have already been placed on reserve, pre-ordered even though there is no set price.
