Cadillac Elmiraj Concept 

      Cadillac enthusiast still have their fingers crossed on the hopes that Cadillac may go forward and put this beautiful vehicle, the Elmiraj into production. After all the Auto industry has a history of making concept a reality, some of the most successful models ever produced started out as pure concepts like the Elmiraj. 
      As far as Cadillac heritage goes the Elmiraj does a good job of showing it through design and performance. The sheer heaviness of the car is classic Cadillac by definition....Too Much. The Elmiraj is a combination a perfect blend of Cadillac from generations before and modern automotive technology. A perfect representation of the both the past and the future somehow cadillac has managed to successfully merge the two with the Elmiraj.

       At first glance it gives off  the overcompensation of the 1950's Fleetwood blended into the personal luxury of 1960's El Dorado. Design isn't all that seems from long ago. This concept Cadillac has power, equipped with a 4.5 Twin Turbo V-8. Although clearly a luxury coupe the Elmiraj does have sportscar tendencies by producing more than 500 horsepower, easily. This car is special in Cadillac history because it does a great job of borrowing the best aspects from Cadillacs before. Everything that makes the leading luxury brand, all right here in this vehicle, the Elmiraj.

       Of course the first question is where would it fit in in an already crowded "Luxury Coupe" market which seems to be growing each year.? The answer to that is simple enough, this isn't a car for market. If it did go into production it would be more of an attraction more to pure car enthusiast, collectors, historians and such a degree.  By no means an everyday driver this car so all others of this caliber would probably go straight into a collection.
    So lets support all Cadillac fans and keep our fingers crossed hoping they do put the Elmiraj into production, full production. After all it balances out meaning the few that can afford one would surely pick theirs up and allow the rest of us to merely get a look at one!
