Simon Cowell’s Black Bugatti Veyron Hitting Auction Block
Fatherhood does it seems come at a cost...or so it seems. At least if anyone was to ask Simon Cowell. The reports in the media affiliate his recent sale of his Bugattti Veyron on the fact that he is due to became a father. Again no one rally knows the real reason but him...but it is fun to speculate!
One of the rarest cars in Scottsdale for auction, actually one of the rarest cars in the world. The Bugatti Veyron...officially the the fastest car on the planet! But we are talking about "The" Simon Cowell that has been consistently entertaining us while also constantly producing "American Idols" for us to enjoy! Reports have it he was simply minding his own business when noticed the Veyron staring at him through a Beverly-Hills Showroom window. So he went in and bought it. This was back in 2010 and the Veyron currently boast a total of 1,400 authentic miles on the speedometer!
The full black exterior and black interior also make this one of only a
handful of black on black Veyrons in the United States and the entire
world. Apparently he spent generously on other upgrades as well. So the word around the auction-world is that this is in fact a once in a lifetime deal! Experts and collectors alike agree the value on such a unique vehicle will only increase. The fact that Simon personally drove "all" the actual miles also add value.

Ironically while the "Simon Cowell" Bugatti Veyron may be getting the most media attention this year, ironically it isn't the most expensive auto going to auction in Scottsdale in 2014. That honor goes to the world-famous McClaren F1 GTR.
A supply year maybe? For whatever reason many of the true collectors decided to change hands this year which placed a lot of exceptionally rare vehicles up for sale in 2014, much more than normal. This may be one of the rare years where supply has actually factored in to demand, in several ways.
