The Lamborghini Huracan - The Perfect Predeccessor

    The Lamborghini Huracan
As we all know all good things no matter how great must come to an end. Change being as powerful as it is demands adaptation in almost every way which brings change by nature. So after 10 years and 14,022 units sold the production run of the most recognizable super-cars ever to run the Lamborghini Gallardo has come to an end. Being for many years one of Lamborghini's most recognizable models for years the Gallardo did in fact have a nice successful decade as a true super-car in every aspect. With the retirement of the Gallardo Lamborghini now had a hole in their line of models. As the Aventador represented the company in terms of styling there wasn't a true "performer" in their stable. Lamborghini it seemed for the first time could get taken off the line! Speaking 0-60 the king of super-cars was vulnerable.

Introducing the Lamborghini Huracan. Named after a famous fighting bull from the late 1800's the Huracan was brought in to represent the company in one way. A super car with one purpose, to perform the car to re-establish Lamborghini as the king of super-cars. Properly named after a bull as it sat looking much like one. due to very aggressively bold styling looked much like the bull it was named after. Powerful muscular lines accented by sharp contrasting design. It wore the aggressive "Bullish" look perfect and according to its specs, it drove like like a bull also.
Performance means power and a 5.2 Liter V-10 is power. The Huracan came with a 58 hp increase over the Gallardo. The Huracan due to such power instantly became a major player in the  super-car game being one of the few production cars crossing 200 MPH. This was something new by Lamborghini something unique. The sound of the V-10 is hypnotic sounding like a true fire-breathing Dragon. It sounds like it looks, fast! Capable of getting from a dead stand still to 62 MPH in only 3.2 seconds I would say this is a serious top 10 contender in the world of super-cars. I wondered what would I do with 610 Hp at my fingertips? How would feel to 6 seconds later to be well over 100? Could I take corners at such speeds comfortably in the Huracan, I wondered. This was a lot of power fortunately it was supported by dynamic responsive steering as well as Carbon Ceramic brakes to slow down such big bull in full stride.
It would seem hard as it would seem to replace the legendary Gallardo Lamborghini did a very tasteful professional job of pulling off thr transition. Retiring one model while introducing another without the 2 touching literally. The Gallardo was retired as a one of a kind classic a one of a kind model run. While the Huracan was simultaneously released to begin its own model run as the companies performer. We can only hope for the best as the Huracan begins its run on a good note.  Let's see what happens a few years down the road in term of establishment.
At any rate it seems :Lamborghini has struck Gold again with this Huracan. Released to an overwhelmingly positive public the model did very well worldwide on many levels. Of course it has a lot do with tradition and heritage after all it is still a Lamborghini. With that being said it still is a true performer when it comes to speed, the reason were here!
